UnConventional — Do you feel a strong urge to voice your opinion about the democratic process? If so, you might want to check out “I Approve This Message” (theunconvention. com/iapprove) a project of the UnConvention produced by Walker Art Center and the UpTake. Participants are invited to submit a video as a response to the scripted nature of presidential nominations, political party conventions and democracy in general. Not sure about your video skills? The Walker will hold three workshops on videography, editing and uploading on Thursday (6 p.m.), Aug. 7 and 16. Workshops are free, but registration is required at 612-375-7600.
